Īnyway, got through mountain lion install but when it was working at 10.8.1 I went ahead and tried the mavericks install, curious as to what specific kext folks with working mavericks installs are using, as well as what settings for multibeast and which of the two dsdt posted in this thread people are having success with. bought the fixed wifi card, a bigger SSD to be installed whenever the wifi arrives. Im trying to get this into a wndows 8.1 and mavericks dual boot. I have the S7Slate but that always had that brightness issue that never got solved properly I too have bought a refurb 700T that I am trying to get up to mavericks while maintaining the windows operation. With this tool, OS X has a better touch user interface with more implementation than Windows 8! Also if you want to enable touch screen multitouch gestures ( Pinch to zoom, expose, 3 finger, 4 finger, 2 finger scroll, all that good stuff) Touch_Base has a guesture driver plugin called Guestures for UPDD: - it requires licensed version of UPDD though. So everything is working great minus Brightness control, and sleep.
If any of you guys (WarlockLord) could check what version your BIOS is that would be great. Hub at 0x1a000000) may have caused a wake by issuing a remote wakeup (2) I have tried to various DSDT edits but to no avail. The console log says Wake cause is XHC1 ( Wake reason = XHC1. BIOS change the addresses of things and I have premised that my BIOS may be what causes the Kernel panic and possible no sleep (may be way off, but worth checking). I recently purchased my xe700t1c and I am pretty positive the BIOS is the latest one.
It sleeps (fans off led light out) but instantly wakes back up. The ML installation is all good but it doesn't sleep. I removed the chameleon ist from my unibeast drive and was able to install ML with -x GraphicsEnabler=YES. I received an instant current panic with the Install Package things that I couldn't avoid with any combo of flags. Thanks for all the good work!
